Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

Introducing the Indoor Zone

During the cold winter months, we have arranged an indoor option for the 30-minute lunch playtime.  We are using the hall as our "Indoor Zone", where we arrange calm activities for the children.

So far, the take-up and feedback have been very positive.  Children have been occupied constructively, enjoying creative and social time with their peers.  They have been able to spend some time outside and some inside if they feel too cold.

Each day we have had different drawing and colouring tasks, including learning how to draw animals and people.

There are two days each week when children are allowed to bring items from home to the Indoor Zone:

THURSDAYS

Trading card club will continue on Thursdays, as an activity in the zone.  All age groups are included.

Please note:

- cards are the responsibility of the owner

- children should only bring cards and join in if they understand that they might swap items they've brought to school.

For that reason, we recommend that children do not bring in any precious or valuable cards.

(There will also be space available for children who are not at trading card club, who would like to come into the zone to draw.)

FRIDAYS

Children are allowed to bring their own pencil case, pencils & pens to the zone on Friday.

Please note:

- all items are the responsibility of the owner.

There is no expectation that children must bring something in, but the option is there if they would like to.

We recommend that children do not bring in anything very special that they would be worried about losing.
