Some of the circuit components are connecting less securely than hoped.  Due to this, we have had a few incidents where the battery holder has overheated.  Please can you ensure that your children are using the torches under adult supervision at all times and that you check to see if there are any hot areas.  If so, these should be disconnected immediately.  Apologies for all the warnings but I still want them to be able to take them home and show what they have done, but also to stay safe.  Thank you.
