Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

World Autism Acceptance Week

In line with our school values, especially Tolerance and Compassion, we often discuss with the children our individuality, differences and challenges, including the different ways we respond to situations.  It is important that our children grow up to understand and be compassionate towards others.

This week is World Autism Acceptance Week.

The National Autistic Society has information and activity ideas to help spread awareness of Autism and Autistic Spectrum Differences, which you can find by following the link below:

World Autism Acceptance Week

While we haven't planned to do any of the fundraising activities this year, it is still a very helpful opportunity to help develop the children's awareness of Autism.

The video below is very helpful in explaining Autism, you may find it useful to share with your child.
