Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

Remembrance Day

Yesterday, we gathered on the field, to commemorate all those who lost their lives during the wars.

The children all made poppies this week, and found out about why we wear them.  You can see more about what we learned here.

Two of our Boughton pupils, Lewis (Y6) and Elsie (Y3) have been selected to represent their respective units at the Remembrance Day parade around Moulton on Sunday.

All Cubs and Brownies will be parading but both Lewis and Elsie will be part of an additional colour parade and be going on to represent their units in church.

The parade will be leaving Moulton working men’s club around 10.30a.m. and parade up to the public gardens, for a short service at the memorial stone, where the cubs and brownies will be dismissed, and then the colour parade will take place so its flag bearers and the 2 escorts will continue for a formal service at the church.

Lewis will be representing Moulton 38th Cubs.

Elsie will be representing Moulton 2nd Brownies.

Congratulations to both Lewis and Elsie, we are all very proud of you.
