Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

What have we been up to this week?

A round up of what Year 6 have been doing this week.

I have had a fabulous week, hearing from lots of Year 6 pupils and their families. I'm so pleased to hear that lots of you are making the most of these strange times by learning new skills or taking time out to do things you enjoy with your families.

My piano skills are improving and I've been trying to practice every day. Luckily I have headphones for my keyboard so I'm not disturbing my neighbours. Just like lots of you, I've been cooking and baking too.

This week Rhys has been busy decorating his windows and the outside walls of his house to make people smile as they walk past on their daily exercise. It looks great Rhys, well done. He has also been keeping active by doing Joe Wicks everyday. Rhys has also found time to write a Victorian time-line and research the planets and our solar system.

I've seen that Ronnie has been making the most of the Easter holidays and the good weather and has been on lots of lovely walks with his family. He has also been playing with his brother in the garden. Glad to see you looking so well and active Ronnie.

Mason has also been doing lots of exercise by playing basketball, football and going on bike rides with his family. But I am most impressed by the look of his lemon drizzle cake. It looks delicious and Mum said it tasted amazing too. Well done Mason, Year 6 will await a tasting session when we are reunited.

I have also had an email from Anna this week, who has been doing some Yoga. She is another Joe Wicks fan and has been working out with him everyday. A new skill that Anna has learnt was a front handspring. Sounds impressive! Anna has been doing her bit for the community too by baking and making Easter cards, then delivering them onto her neighbours doorsteps. I'm sure they really appreciated that Anna.

I really do love to hear from you all. I am missing you loads and can't wait to see you all.

As a challenge, I'd like to hear your funniest joke this week. Email me at boughtonyr6@gmail.com

Keep Safe, keep smiling

Miss Sadler
