So far in Year 6 we have been enjoying our first class book, Holes by Louis Sachar.

The children have enjoyed having the first part of the story read to them and sharing their ideas about the links between the flashbacks and Stanley - who is at a juvenile correctional facility.  Whilst we have been learning on Zoom, we analysed some of the characters, settings and language together.

We can't wait to find out whether Stanley has to dig a 5 foot hole everyday or whether he escapes the warden.
