Year Five had been reading Goodnight Mr Tom before school closures and so to continue this book I will be adding a chapter each week along with comprehension tasks to complete.

The tasks are available to fill in online or may be printed off, I have also included adult guidance with answers!

I will also be adding a spelling list each week, please practise these with your children as usual. They could find the meaning of each word, write sentences with them in and look out for words with similar patterns in their own reading. You can then test your child at the end of the week.
