Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

Year 3 Suggested Activities

Please read the following blog for some suggested home learning activities

Hello again to everyone in Year 3! Another week down, I hope you are all still safe and well.

I was so impressed to see that some of you have attempted some of the Fractions work on Mathletics.  Well done!  Please continue to work on the fractions section and keep practising your times tables and division facts.

I’m hoping some of you started/continued to practice the Year 3 and 4 spellings. Keep up with these please and see if you can write these words correctly into sentences. Another idea is that you could create your own dictionary with these words and their definitions. This could be a work-in-progress over the next couple of weeks/months.

I have attached an art activity for you to complete. I would like you to complete the other half of the daffodil using your sketching techniques. You could also colour/paint these. I would love to see the final results. Remember to email your work/activities to boughtonyr3@gmail.com

Finally, I have attached a World Book Day comprehension activity. It has three levels of challenge for you to choose from, which you can see from the stars at the bottom of the page and the answers will be there too. Hopefully that should keep you going!

Remember these are just suggested activities to do if you are well and able.  These will next be updated on the Monday after the Easter holidays. Most importantly keep reading, keep happy and stay at home.
