This week we made seasonal tarts in our Design and Technology lessons. The children spent some time learning about different fruits and vegetables and where they come from, then they learnt about seasonal vegetables from the UK. Year 3 children then spent an afternoon selecting their vegetables for their tarts and designed them.

After constructing the tarts themselves, an adult baked them for half an hour, and we finished the day with a delicious tasting session. They turned out great and smelt amazing!
