At the end of last term, we had a very exciting visitor. Imogen Clark joined us for assemblies and then sessions with our Key Stage 1 and 2 classes.

Imogen is a professional swimmer whose achievements include winning a Silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham this year.

The children and adults were equally impressed with Imogen’s dedication, motivation and achievements. Both Key Stages spontaneously burst into applause after watching a video of Imogen beating the world record holder.

It was beautiful watching the children in awe of this amazing athlete, their faces as they held the Silver Commonwealth medal and listening to their profound questions about her career.
