During the spring and summer, lots of the children have hats, sunglasses and so on that can end up going missing.  Often these items are labelled, but it's sometimes when children are in a hurry that they might pick up the wrong item.

We do also remind the children, particularly in KS2, that everything they bring to school is ultimately their responsibility.  Whilst all the staff try to ensure the right items go home with the right owners, we can't rigorously check all 195 children's items every day!

Many thanks for your help. We do understand how frustrating it is as a parent when your child's belongings become separated from them.
