Values Awards
Year 6 Values Awards Nominations
This week Year 6 have nominated their class mates for the Values Awards. The two values we have met again this year are responsibility and tolerance.
As always I was really impressed with the variety of children nominated and the reasons given.
For tolerance the children nominated each other for the following reasons: accepting each other into their games; being kind and a friend to all; understanding and showing empathy to other people; looking out for children/adults who need help or cheering up; and making people feel included.
Nominations for the responsibility award were for: giving their all; thinking about a situation and future consequences before acting; always having the correct equipment for learning; being kind to others; taking care of their things and school equipment; helping to keep playground equipment in order; working hard to improve their learning even when they make mistakes; always completing their homework; and being sensible in class - even when it's difficult.
The class know who won the Values Awards but we want to keep it a secret until our class assembly on Friday 17th December at 1:30pm.
