Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

This week in Year 5

This week we had a mysterious visitor leave footprints across the classroom one breaktime!

We found out that it was in fact an 'imperfect pet' who had escaped from him jar!

Together we read The Barnabus Project - a lovely book about how we may all be different, but we are all worthy!

The children then designed their own 'imperfect pets' and created a fact file about their own pet.

We have also been recapping our knowledge in French this week and learning how to tell people what we want to be when we grow up!

Je vais être enseignant !

We have also been thinking about children's rights and responsibilities in PSHE today, and how we can play our part in ensuring that all children can be safe, happy and confident.

Star of The Week: Well done to Brianna, Katie and Sydney!

Work of the Week: Megan - for a lovely short write about a moon landing
