Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

Pocket Park Planting

On Thursday, Year 5 headed out to the pocket park to take part in Boughton Primary's annual bulb planting.

Once we arrived at the park, we had to look for the perfect area to plant our bulbs. Fritillaria's need a sunny place with some shade. So we decided on an area at the far left corner, as the path bends round to head towards the top of the pocket park near a small bench.

We took it in turns to dig small holes, place our bulbs in the holes dug and then covered them back over.

Hopefully our flowers will begin to bloom around April. So if you're visiting in Spring time, keep an eye out for our flowers!
