This week we started Science. We are going to be learning about different parts of a plant and their functions. To kick start the subject we carried out an investigation to see what a plant needs to grow. The children chose to take away either light, water or temperature and in a weeks time we will see if our cress has grown. Next week, the children will also be experimenting with the movement of water within a plant. Fingers crossed our investigation works! Keep an eye out for next weeks blog to see the progress.
