Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

Bulb Planting and Remembrance Day

Year 3's learning this week.

On Tuesday, the children visited the Pocket Park to plant some bulbs. The Year 3 children planted Narcissus Pueblo – white daffodils with yellow trumpets. We planted the bulbs at the top of the park and we expect to see them bloom in Spring.

Thursday was Remembrance Day and the children spent the morning learning about why we celebrate Remembrance Day and why we hold a two-minute silence at 11 o’clock. The children produced some great artwork and made some 3D poppies to add to our whole school display.

Year 3 children also finished off their History lessons this week. They have been learning about the Bronze and Iron Age. We are now going to focus on Science where we are going to learn about animals including humans.
