Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

Our Third Week at School

This week the children have become much more engaged in their play. We have seen lots of creativity with obstacle courses being constructed, role play games and lots of drawing and writing. Many children have been sending each other messages from the message centre, using symbols to communicate meaning. We have also supported lots of children to write their name as part of their play.

On Thursday we had some very special visitors, when Tristan very kindly brought in his butterflies so we could release them. We watched a video which showed a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly, read the story, 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and drew beautiful pictures of butterflies. The children were fascinated by the butterflies and loved learning about them.
