Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

Term 6 Week 6 6th July 2020

We have two weeks left until the summer holidays. Let’s keep attempting activities for another two weeks and then have lots of rest ready for our return in September.

Maths

Please see Summer term  Week 11 (w/c 6th July) on White Rose. This week they are looking at mass and capacity. As well as watching the videos and completing the worksheets (attached at the bottom of the blog) you could also try and weigh things in your own home. You could even follow a recipe, weighing out different ingredients to make something delicious.

English

Here is the same link from last week.

The spellings this week are revision of silent letters again. Please make sure you know what each word means. Keep me updated on your weekly scores. The list of words is attached at the bottom of this blog.

Project

For those of you who have finished the mini beasts project we are going to do something different for the next few weeks of school. Children’s Art Week will be running for the next 2 weeks and we would like you to take part.  Each week there will be a different theme for you to think about.

This week’s theme is Connecting Across Generations.  You could have a look at the website and some suggested activities but we know how creative you are and that you can think up your own ideas!  It could be sketching, painting, sculpture, photography, animation, modelling, textiles, the list is endless!

If you have any questions on any of these suggested activities, please email me on boughtonyr3@gmail.com . I hope you all have another great week and hopefully it’s not so hot.
