Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

End of KS2 SATs - a few thank yous...

I would like to thank all of our amazing staff, for providing a calm and settled environment throughout the school this week, enabling our Y6 pupils to do the very best they could in their SATS.

Mrs Hartwell has written a little more in the Y6 Blog, thanking the adults and children.  I would like to echo her thanks and also extend a huge thank-you to Mrs Hartwell herself!  She has worked tirelessly to prepare the children for these national assessments, in partnership with their fantastic parents, and with the KS2 team.

Everyone's efforts are very much appreciated.

We know, of course, that the children are MUCH more than a score, and we aim to nurture all of their skills and talents at our school.  This week was just one week in their lives and they will continue to have a fully rounded experience for the remainder of the year.

They finished the week by finally being able to spend some time with their Reception chums.  It was just lovely to see how nurturing and caring our Y6 learners were towards their Reception counterparts.

Here's to a summer term filled with learning, fun and happy memories.
