Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

Children's Mental Health Week

Today Boughton Primary School celebrated Children's Mental Health Week with in-class assemblies and discussions all about what mental health is, how important it is to look after it and what we can do when we need help.

The children have all been given a wristband encouraging them to "talk out loud about mental health".  We encourage the children to talk about how they are feeling, try to name the emotion if possible and to know that all feelings are valid and important, even the negative or trickier ones!  We also talked about things we can do to help our mental health.  If you would like more information, then the link below has lots of advice and activities for you to try.
