A letter will be emailed to all parents this week, regarding our plans for Christmas assemblies during the final week of term.
Each class will perform to parents during either a morning or afternoon, to coincide with drop-off or pick-up times. Dates and times will follow in the letter. The assemblies will consist of some Christmas songs, a simple nativity in Reception and Year 1, and in all classes, our Head Teacher's awards and Values awards for the term.
At the moment, we are planning to restrict numbers to one adult per child, given the latest increase in national restrictions due to the new Covid variant. However, this will be kept under review, and if we feel it is safe to open to two adults per child, we will notify parents nearer the time.
Each assembly will be recorded and put on the class blog, so that any family members unable to attend in person are still able to watch after the event.
We are sure you will understand why we are still being careful with our indoor events at this time; however, we are excited and hopeful that we can go ahead with live performances this year, albeit in a different way.
