Outdoor Christmas Fayre
Having our book signing outdoors with Keith Hatton yesterday made me realise that it's been so long since we've been able to welcome our Boughton families to school.
One parent asked if I'd been locked in a cupboard, as it was the first time they'd seen me in person for almost two years!
This has inspired me to see if we can get our collective Boughton brains together and arrange an outdoor Christmas Fayre.
If we are able to go ahead, it would take place between 3p.m. and 5p.m. on Friday 26th November 2021. The plan would be to have a selection of stalls under gazebos, some of which would be run by our Y5 and Y6 children. We would also like to be able to serve refreshments, and would need some parental support to do so.
We would need help in setting up from 12.30p.m. and in packing away, from 5p.m.
If you are interested in helping out in any capacity, on a rota of 30 minute slots on the day, please register your interest by emailing me on boughtonhead@gmail.com.
The funds we raise will go towards an outdoor canopy, to go around as much of the building as possible, making future outdoor events an all-weather possibility.
