Year 3 Suggested Activities
Please read the following blog for some suggested home learning activities.
Hello to everyone in Year 3! I hope you are all ok and enjoying the sunshine. Miss Croxford and I are missing you all and we are looking forward to when we can get back together to talk about everything we have been up to.
I suggest for Maths that you log in to Mathletics and have a go at all of the Fractions tasks. I would really recommend scrolling down to the bottom and doing the "Something Easier" section to start with as a bit of a recap. Have a go at all the sections but don't worry if you find some of it tricky as we will be going over this all again in school. There's a lot on this so take your time with it and don't rush to get it all done!
This is a great chance to start/continue practising the spellings from out Year 3 and 4 spelling list. I have attached a copy of this for you.
I really hope we are still reading 5 times a week! Year 3 were great at that! In addition to reading and listening to our favourite books, have ago at the attached reading activity. The text is a long and complicated one, you might remember it. Ask an adult to help you decode (read and understand) the text. Also have a go at answering the questions. Take your time to really understand the text, read and re-read over a few days before answering the questions in depth.
Most importantly, stay safe and at home if possible, read read read and enjoy spending time with your family.
