Yesterday, a local children's author, Keith Hatton visited Boughton Primary. He spoke to children from Year 2 to Year 6 about becoming a writer, his influences, what inspires him and where his ideas come from.

The children were fascinated and their questions were incredible.  It was so exciting for them to meet a real author and find out about his work.  We are constantly promoting the importance of reading and hopefully this has inspired many of the children to read at home.

Keith stayed after school to sell and sign his books.  Thank you to the parents and children who waited in the queue so patiently!
