Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

Sharing Our Final Week

This would have been our final week in Year 5.

I would just like to say how proud I am of you all for working so hard and keeping positive during these strange times. I have loved having you all in Year 5 and I am looking forward to seeing you again in September before you move on to Year 6.

Here’s what some of you have been up to recently.

Dexter was the first to play on the equipment in the playground as they just happened to be walking past as they reopened it! Looks like you and Arlo had lots of fun!

He has also been working hard at his Mathletics as well as starting to learn a new language using Duolingo!

Max D-T has been busy too. Inspired by junior bake of this week he has made Chocolate Meringue pies. They had some fun when making sure the mixture was ready by holding the bowl over their heads!

Max has also been doing lots of different pieces of work, and even recreated ‘the scream’. A fantastic picture and very creative!

Harry has been up to lots! He has been working hard, has finished his minibeast project as well as resuming his football training. He has also been having fun with his new kitten!

Chayce made a visit to the beach, and although it wasn’t super sunny, they had a lot of beach all to themselves! Sounds like the perfect day trip to me!

Rayan has been working hard on his writing, completing his third talk for writing unit!

Olivia has also been working on her minibeast project, creating a lovely fact file all about butterflies.

I hope you have all had a great week and are now looking forward to taking a well earned rest through the summer! Enjoy yourselves and stay safe. I can’t wait to see you all in September,

Miss Rice
