Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

A busy week in Year 2

Wow what a busy week year 2 have had!!!

I have loved receiving all your emails telling me all the great things you have been doing.

Alfie has been learning facts about the sun and has done a fab drawing of the International Space Station.

Jacob has been painting rainbows and counted 12 rainbows in the windows of his street. He has also decorated and painted a pot and planted a sunflower, we look forward to seeing this grow!

Blake has been doing work on lots of different subjects. Exploring the human skeleton and labelling the parts, teaching mum about the 7 continents and 5 oceans. Learning French with mum and baking some delicious cakes! All this as well as English, Maths, lots of crafts and getting out on his bike!

Sophia has been busy with her Maths and Geography in her magic, special book and has made a super Solar System using playdough!

Jamie has been out moon spotting and sent a super photo, with a drawing of the Solar System. He has also completed a fantastic jigsaw, that is a map of the world, labelling the oceans and continents.

Caitlin has been very busy creating games to make learning fun, making footsteps timetables, building a den to do her colouring in and making a quiz for her mum and dad. She has made a super non-chronological report about the Solar System teaching her family lots of facts.

Austin has been busy outdoors linking his Maths to football, getting lots of fresh air, whilst beating dad!!

Evie G sent me a very funny picture of her with a jacket potato! I will let you explain our class joke haha!

Ava has been very busy with her spellings, whilst doing lots of reading and Mathletics also using Disney colouring sheets to work on her maths too.

Molly has been researching and investigating in Science, planting Sunflowers and learning about how to look after them and help them grow. We look forward to seeing the photos of them growing! She has also been busy with Maths, reading and practising her spellings.
