World Pangolin Day
Saturday, 19th February was World Pangolin Day and Jess and her sister Phoebe were raising awareness outside Brixworth Library.
Jess, her sister and two friends not only stood outside Brixworth library with placards and spoke to members of the public about the issue, Jess even designed and gave out leaflets to raise awareness for these little-known animals.
Last week, Year 6 pupils were all given one of Jess' professionally written leaflets in the hope they would bring them home and discuss them with their families. I definitely learnt a lot reading about their plight.
Not only were we impressed, but the girls also caught the attention of the local media. Below is a link to an article written in the Northampton Chronicle.
