Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

R.E. in Year 4

Last week Year 4 spent their afternoons exploring what we mean by happiness and discussing some difficult questions including:

"Can everyone be happy?"

"What would you do if you won one million pounds?"

"Would you rather be poor and happy or rich and sad?"

We learned about the origins of the Buddhist faith and how they try to be happy by being kind to others.  We talked about how the Buddha meditated under a bodhi tree so decided to have our Calm Me Jigsaw moment under a tree too.  The sun was shining, the birds were singing and we were all relaxed and happy!
