This week the Year 3 children have been learning about rocks, fossils and soil. We spent one afternoon learning about a lady called Mary Anning. Some children had already heard of her and were able to share facts before we even started the lesson.

We watched videos, read fact files and stories about her so that we could make our own double page spread all about Mary. The children really enjoyed this lesson and loved learning about how important she was.
