Boughton Primary School

Links With the Community

Boughton Primary School is a community school and as such should be at the heart of the local community.

We are working hard to develop good links and relationships with the closer and wider community.

At the moment, we are looking at ways that the school and parish council can develop closer links for the benefit of the whole community.

Since September, the school has been pleased to welcome:

Cllr Judy Shephard (Chairman of Northamptonshire County Council)

Cllr John Clarke (Chairman of Boughton Parish Council)

At our Harvest Festival, our collection of harvest goods was sent to Northampton Shelter.

Our termly family assemblies are open to members of the community of Boughton

At Christmas, we held our Christingle service at Boughton Parish Church.

The school is working hard to support the development of the 'Pocket Park' and particularly the 'Playbuilder' scheme.
