Boughton School Association (BSA)

The BSA is very active in supporting the school through a wide range of activities. These have the dual purpose of raising much needed funds for the school, which allows us to purchase items that would normally be beyond our budget, together with providing a wide range of enjoyable activities for both parents and children.

In the past year the BSA have formed a Film Club for the children, which has proved extremely popular. They have also purchased outdoor trestle tables for the children to enjoy their lunches on warm summer days, along with digital cameras. At the end of the Summer Term the BSA hosted the Leavers Celebration in the School Hall, which was attended by children in years 4,5 and 6. The evening had a 'prom night' theme and was a memorable way for our oldest pupils to finish their education at Boughton before moving on to secondary school.

So far this school year, the BSA have organised a New Parents Coffee Morning, Pasta Lunch for the children and subsidsed our key stage two trip to West Stow Anglo Saxon Museum. Future events this term include Halloween Disco, 'Bangers in a Bun' lunch and Gift 2 Gift day.
