Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

Term 6 Week 4 22nd June 2020

Hello everyone. Welcome to Week 4 of this term, please see below for these weeks suggested activities.

Maths

On White Rose Summer term  Week 9 (w/c 22nd June) they are focusing angles. We haven’t covered this in school, so it is definitely worth while attempting these at home if you can. It looks at right angles, comparing angles, horizonal and vertical lines and parallel perpendicular lines. Please watch the videos and then attempt the worksheets attached at the bottom of this blog.

Spellings this week are looking at the rule, words ending with a /cher/ sound, spelt with ‘ture’ again. Please see the new list of words at the bottom of the blog, following this rule. Make sure you know what each word means.

Wellbeing

Follow the link below to access free resources to complete with your child to help them find healthy ways to deal with their feelings and reactions during this uncertain time. During the Covid-19 lockdown, we're all feeling less secure and missing our usual routines. Just as doing exercise improves physical health, you and your child can do activities to boost mental health.
