Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
Be Kind…Be Safe…Be Responsible

Term 6 Week 2 8th June 2020

I hope everyone has had a good weekend and isn't too bothered about the change in the weather.  I am happy as I'm finding it a lot easier to sleep and I bet the minibeasts will be enjoying it too!  Hopefully we will see some more sunshine soon though.

Maths

Maths this week has a lesson on multiplication and division  problems and then some lessons on perimeter and area which we have already looked at and should be a nice revision!   You will need to use the following link to access the videos for each lesson and the sheets and answers are below.  This week's work is Week beginning 11th May.

I have opened up the length, area and perimeter section on Mathletics for you to have a practice on too.

English

This week you have more "ous" words.  This time the words have no definite root word and are words you should be pretty familiar with.  The activity sheets are attached below.

Hopefully you have been able to make a start on our new "Mission Possible" writing booklet.  If not, I have included it for you again this week.

Project

It was lovely to see that so many of you have started your Minibeast activities and sent in some pictures and updates.  Keep working on those activities and hunting for bugs!

P.E.

Just a little reminder that the children in school are taking part in the Northamptonshire Sport Virtual School Games.  If you haven't checked it out yet the link is below.  Lots of house points are available for taking part!

Have a great week!  Keep in touch through the gmail and send me through any updates you have.  I enjoy hearing what you are up to.
