Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
'Kind words, Kind deeds, Kind thoughts'

Meet the teacher...today

You may remember I wrote to parents in June, to inform you of our staffing arrangements for September and to invite you to meet your child's new teacher at pick-up time.  I have attached the original letter, for your convenience.

The arrangements for you to meet the teacher are listed below.

Parents of children currently in Reception and Y1, moving to Y1 and Y2:

Come to the playground gate as usual but wait outside your child’s NEW class.

The class teacher will open the door and invite you in.

Your child will be ready to greet you and show you their new classroom; the teacher and teaching assistant will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Parents of children currently in Y2 to Y5, moving to Y3, Y4, Y5, Y6:

Come to the car park classroom doors and wait outside your child’s NEW class.  The doors will be labelled with the class name to help you identify which you need to go to.  The class teacher will open the door and invite you in.  Your child will be ready to greet you and show you their new classroom, again the teaching staff will be happy to answer your questions.

If you have children in more than one class, please go to your YOUNGEST child’s new class first.

From there, you can both go to visit your older child/ren’s class/es.

If you are unable to visit today, don't worry - there will be opportunities to meet your child's teacher in the autumn term.

Finally, I am delighted to announce that we have appointed Mrs Amanda Darlington as the TA for class 3; she will officially start her duties in September but has been able to join class 3 for the day.  I am sure you will join me in welcoming her to our fantastic Boughton team.
