Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
'Kind words, Kind deeds, Kind thoughts'

Community Share Day

The front entrance to our school is having some much needed TLC, thanks to a team of volunteers from RBS, led by one of our parents.

Mrs Farmer, a parent in Y1, contacted school to see if we could use some voluntary help for a day.  So far, the team has taken on creosoting the front fence and filling some hanging baskets to adorn the front of the building.

I'd like to extend my thanks to Mrs Farmer and her team.

This follows on from the work started by another team of parent volunteers, who came to help in April for our first "Fix-It Friday".   They worked hard in the Reception area and garden, preparing the space so that we can develop an outdoor classroom that the whole school will benefit from. Thanks to our Environment for Learning team: Miss Willix, Mrs Cook, Mrs Warfield and Mrs Osborne for organising this.

We plan to hold another Fix-It Friday later in the year, we will let you know the date via the newsletter and school news app.
