Coding with Scratch

Following on from our 'unplugged' lessons on Computational thinking we have been putting what we learnt into practice. We started looking at Scratch last week with a 'tinkering' lesson to find out how the program works. This week we were given a piece of code and we had to 'debug' it by correcting errors and altering the 'variables'. When debugging we think of 'decomposition' and 'abstraction', these are terms we have been learning about which help us write a precise piece of code for our Algorithm.
