Read here to find out what Year 3 have been up on Week 8 of lockdown.
Hello Year 3. I hope you have all had another good and safe week. It has been lovely to hear from some of you, updating me on what you have been up to. Remember to keep me updated to earn house points for all your hard work.
This week Flynn has been enjoying the warm weather in his garden by building Lego boats with his siblings.
Edward has been busy everyday with school work. He has also been playing lots of sports in the garden like golf, basketball and tennis. Last week for VE day Edward wrote invitations to his neighbours and they safely celebrated together as a community. After this he received thank you cards. It is lovely to see Edward’s community spirit.
Harry has been working hard on his school work. He has also asked for a hamster once the shops reopen so he spent some time planning and preparing for his new pet. Harry spent a morning researching what he needs and how much it will cost. We will need to see some pictures when you get your hamster!
Jack has used BBC bitesize to complete some tasks in Maths, History and Science. He said he really misses school, I think we all do (even me). Jack has also finished his countries project; Jack decided to focus on Jamaica. You can see his finished result in the pictures below. Jack earned 100 house points for completing his project, I can’t wait to see everybody else’s!
Once again Jake has been super busy. He made bunting and cakes to celebrate VE day. He has been learning about money in Maths and has started his countries project. Jake is reading daily and has written thank you letters to family members who posted him presents for his birthday.
This week I found out that Brianna has been busy since lockdown began. She has been completing tasks on Mathletics and been completing the Talk for Writing booklet. Brianna has been enjoying her time at home with her family.
I also have been updated that Amaar has been taking part in the Joe Wick’s PE sessions. He has been completing tasks on Mathletics and has been reading daily. Amaar also made a lovely collage representing all the things in his life that he loves.
Finally, Willow has been finishing her countries project and her weekly Maths challenges. She celebrated VE day with an afternoon tea and has been going on adventurous walks with her family. Willow has been showing compassion as she has been helping her younger brother with his school work.
I am sure many of us have shown many values through this challenging time. Please keep sending in your emails and I look forward to seeing your completed country projects.
